MEET TEACHER MAE

We are pleased to highlight Teacher Danica, a thoughtful, organized, and highly capable member of the Panda Cub House team.

Teacher Danica brings over seven years of professional experience in administration, coordination, and client relations, paired with a strong foundation in early childhood education. Her background in managing complex schedules, documentation, and communication allows her to support the daily rhythm of the centre with clarity, efficiency, and care.

With formal training in Early Childhood Education (Orientation Certificate) and Standard First Aid & CPR, Teacher Danica approaches her role with professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility. She is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and skilled at managing multiple priorities—qualities that contribute to a safe, well-organized, and responsive environment for children, families, and staff.

What stands out most is Teacher Danica’s reliability, strong communication skills, and collaborative spirit. Whether supporting routines, assisting with documentation, or contributing behind the scenes, she consistently demonstrates respect, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

We are grateful to have Teacher Danica as part of the Panda Cub House community and value the structure, care, and professionalism she brings to our program each day.

PANDA CUB HOUSE LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We humbly acknowledge that we are settlers here on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and traveling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit, whose footsteps, culture, knowledge and history have marked these lands for centuries. This is the land that we inhabit, we are only here because of Treaty. We are all treaty people.

We are non-Indigenous people whom are grateful to live, work, learn and play here in Treaty 6 territory and acknowledge that we are a visitor on this land. In response to the TRC and in the spirit of genuine reconciliation, we are committed to understanding the effects of colonization, our role in it, and how we can be a better ally and apprentice, and to uplift the voices of Indigenous people.
