This Open Educational Resource ECE Ethical Leadership (Marino, n.d.)  helps to put a code of ethics into practical terms. This document provides an overview of the NAEYC code of ethics and then applies it to scenarios with ethical challenges. Pay attention to the section on Ethical Leadership that addresses the unique ethical challenges of being a leader in this field. This resource also does a great job of addressing cultural differences and how culture affects ethics.

This is the land that we inhabit, we are only here because of Treaty. We are all treaty people.

We are non-Indigenous people whom are grateful to live, work, learn and play here in Treaty 6 territory and acknowledge that we are a visitor on this land. In response to the TRC and in the spirit of genuine reconciliation, we are committed to understanding the effects of colonization, our role in it, and how we can be a better ally and apprentice, and to uplift the voices of Indigenous people.​
