For ECE Teachers: What is Trauma Informed Practice?

We will be talking about how adversity and toxic stress impact children and their development. As leaders, you can help create a trauma-informed program that supports students who have experienced adversity. If you have completed your diploma recently, you might have taken a course on these topics, so this week will be more of a review. If you have been out of school for a while, this might not have been something that was taught but is an important part of creating a safe and supportive program for all children.
